Kunst Parallel zur Natur

Paul Cézannes berühmte Äußerung, Kunst sei eine Harmonie parallel zur Natur, bildet eines der Prinzipien für den Entwurf des Museums Insel Hombroich als musealen und landschaftlichen Idealraum. Unter diesem Thema, kuratiert von Georg Schmidt, findet eine einwöchige Begegnung von vier KünstlerInnen im Haus für Musiker auf der Raketenstation Hombroich statt. Almut Hilf, Schirin Kretschmann, David Semper und Andreas von Ow erkunden den Kulturraum Hombroich und nutzen ihn für künstlerische Experimente und Reflexionen parallel zur Natur.

Paul Cézanne's famous statement that art is a harmony parallel to nature is one of the principles behind the design of the Museum Insel Hombroich as an ideal museum and landscape space. Under this theme, curated by Georg Schmidt, a one-week meeting of four artists will take place in the Haus für Musiker on the rocket station Hombroich. Almut Hilf, Schirin Kretschmann, David Semper and Andreas von Ow explore the cultural space of Hombroich and use it for artistic experiments and reflections parallel to nature.
